“Risking is better than Regretting”
Yes, I am slowly learning to agree with the above quote when it comes to life or fashion!
Growing back in India we were not encouraged to opt for neutral or beige color because of our skin tone. Mothers wouldn’t let their daughters gravitate towards this color saying that it does not do anything for them. It’s an interesting fact how different parts of the world have different perspectives of the same color but the positive note is how someone adapts to these differences and can make it their own!
Look1:
Tried to put together all neutral color look with striking accessories to complement the look. I love a wide leg pant in any season but if the material is heavier it can be good for colder months too. Paired it with a bodysuit in a darker shade of beige to create a monochromatic feel, you know am a big fan of monochromatic look. Blazer in the check print helped in elevating the look there by polishing the whole look.
When it comes to accessories decided to go with a forest green bag which is a good replacement for black! we can give our black bags a rest :D. You must have seen animal print is big now and will continue to do so for the upcoming seasons, so why not take advantage of it and come out of our comfort zone. I love this subtle snake print sling backs with a structural heel which mimics a neutral shoe from far but the details are to die for!
Look2:
Keeping the same blazer and switching up with light knit top and wine color trouser to give the look more dimension. Always tuck your tops or sweaters for an elongated look. If you notice have kept the the same shoes and they really standout against the wine color. This has to be one of my favorite looks! π
Look3:
Received a lot of compliments for this look when I posted the picture on instagram π Let me tell you how I put together this look, one afternoon after coming back from a movie and was wearing the same old sweater and jeans then suddenly my eyes fell on this tan coat which finally is a part of my closet. Then in order to finish the look paired it with shoes and bucket bag for bling details, voila the look was born!
I tried to incorporate bling details to elevate the causal look and saw many of you liked it! When it comes to trying out new trends like the snake print shoes and bucket bag have preferred to not spend a lot on it. So i have advised many of my friends to do the same , always try out the trends by spending less and if they like it they can go ahead and invest more for good quality.
Both the slingbacks and bag are from Charles & Keith , a company from Singapore known worldwide for their quality and affordable price. Priyanka chopra sported their products and that’s how I know them.
